The Return of Hubble

The Hubble Space Telescope has been refurbished and the new pictures are nothing less than spectacular. The credit for these pictures should read: NASA, ESA, and the Hubble SM4 (Service Mission 4) ERO (Early Release Observation) Team. “This marks a new beginning for Hubble,” said Ed Weiler, associate administrator for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington. “The telescope was given an extreme makeover and now is significantly more powerful than ever, well-equipped to last into the next decade.”
